Payton's Story

“I hope you never have to hear the words; your daughter has cancer. I hope you never have to hear; the prognosis is not good," said Payton's Mom, Kimberly.  

Last year we shared Payton's story with you, at the time she was cancer free. Just two months later in January 2020, Payton experienced back pains and six weeks later she learned the devastating news that her Ewing Sarcoma had returned. This time not only was there a mass by her spine, but there were tumors throughout her body, in her bone marrow and small spots on her lungs. 

Today, on #GivingTuesday, we wanted to share with you how Payton is continuing her fight with cancer and remind you that the foundation is committed to preventing cancer, care for those battling it and finding a cure.
